I am a qualified BACP-accredited counsellor with a level 5 diploma in Person-Centred Counselling. My work is shaped by a quiet personal connection to loss and grief, and by the many ways these experiences have taught me to sit with others gently, with steadiness and heartfelt understanding.
For over fifteen years, I’ve worked in social care across a wide landscape — mental health, dementia, geriatrics, various physical disabilities, and brain injury. In every role, I’ve been drawn to the moments where people begin to rediscover their own strength, their own voice, and the courage to live in a way that feels true to them.
I also carry personal experience of navigating many losses, and of caring for a loved one at home. I’ve learned how grief can settle into a life — how it shifts, softens, and becomes something we carry as the world continues to grow around it. This understanding sits quietly at the heart of my work. I believe deeply in gentle, steady companionship during some of life’s most painful, vulnerable and lonely moments.
Alongside my counselling practice, I volunteer with Cruse Bereavement Support. I am also in the process of creating a Community Interest Company, ‘LivingRoomCIC’, devoted to supporting people through all kinds of grief and loss… coming soon!
